Sloppy Slipper Campaign
Natureform, part of the Bacup Shoe Company, est 1928, provides quality extra wide fitting footwear for sufferers of conditions such as oedema, diabetes and arthritis to the general public through our mail order brochure as well as a network of distributors such as pharmacies and mobility stores.
The Sloppy Slipper Campaign was started in conjunction with the National Falls Collaborative, to help reduce falls amongst the elderly and to raise awareness of the need for better fitting footwear.
Natureform have supplied numerous events throughout the UK and continue to offer The Slipper as one of our standard services and all slippers sold through the campaign are at no profit prices directly to PCTs, county Councils, charities and government bodies. We can cater for all types of requirements, from single pair orders to large scale projects requiring intensive support.
Until the summer of 2007, Natureform offered only standard width fitting slippers and booties on The Campaign. However, owing to popular demand we are now also providing our Natureform range of wide fitting slippers and booties in addition to the usual standard fit variety. This is to ensure we are able to provide good quality slippers to all members of the elderly community - many of which require a wider fitting.
We provide:
Standard fit slipper and booties - £3.00 Plus Vat
Wide fit booties - £7.00 Plus Vat
Carriage is charged at the subsidised cost of £9.00 per 40 pairs
We are able to provide ratio split boxes of slippers/booties to make life easier for you. This means you only have to tell us how many pairs you want, we will then ensure you have the correct number of each size in accordance with the most popular foot sizes in the UK. So you'll have more of the most popular sizes and less of the least common sizes. We'll also ensure you have the right split in terms of ladies and gents, wide fit and standard fit. We are also able to provide fitting guidance, if required.
Intensive Project Management and support, to include training staff and also attending the events, planning and co-ordination, can be provided by a dedicated Campaign Manager. PR assistance in helping and organising press coverage if required.
